Mary Purcell Joins NAI NP Dodge
Omaha, Neb. (December 10, 2024) – NAI NP Dodge has added Mary Purcell as a licensed commercial real estate salesperson. She provides comprehensive brokerage services for all property types but specializes in retail and office real estate.
A native of Omaha, Mary graduated from Saint Louis University. Prior to her commercial real estate career, she worked in nutrition and dietetics, spending eight years in FDA regulatory work. While working remotely, she frequented coffee shops to stay connected to the world around her. It was at a Starbucks that she first encountered commercial real estate, landing her first role through a chance meeting. Inspired by her father, who successfully transitioned into independent sales at age 60 after decades in corporate America, Mary embraced the opportunity to pivot into a new industry.
In 2020, Mary dove into commercial real estate, focusing on office and retail spaces during the pandemic. Under the mentorship of Terry Clauff at Dial Companies, she also gained valuable experience in development. Her expertise includes landlord and tenant representation across retail, office, investment and industrial spaces. Mary is committed to treating all clients with the same level of dedication, no matter the size of the deal, guided by her belief that every opportunity has the potential to lead to something greater.
Mary’s career philosophy is rooted in resilience and a self-motivated work ethic, traits honed during her time in dietetics. After a brief hiatus in 2022 to focus on her daughter’s health, Mary reentered the field with renewed purpose. She is currently working toward obtaining her Iowa real estate license in 2025 and recently joined Commercial Real Estate Women to expand her professional network.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Mary is deeply motivated by her daughter and values the experiences they share through travel. She has also volunteered extensively at her daughter’s former school.
Mary thrives on the challenges and excitement of commercial real estate. For her, the greatest reward is meeting new people, building relationships, and closing deals that represent months of effort and collaboration.
